* Lingua Writing Competition결과안내 * 지난 14일~18일에 LA이상 Level 및 METT반 원생들을 대상으로 Lingua Writing Competition이 실시되었습니다. (1) 수상자명단 1) 최우수상 수상자 : T.CS Hyun Joo Son(중2) 91.25점 - Essay Topic : What are the benefits and consequences of people living longer? 2) 우수상 수상자 : T.CA-P Alice Kim(초6) 90.05점 - Essay Topic : Making Donation to Charities (2) 장학금 혜택 1) 최우수상(The Best Student) -익월 수강료 50,000원 혜택 (11월 등록 시에만 혜택이 주어짐) 절대평가 95점 이상자에 한함 2) 우수상(The Second Best) -익월 수강료 30,000원 혜택 (11월 등록 시에만 혜택이 주어짐) 절대평가 90점 이상자에 한함 (3) 수상자 선정 절차 1)1st Step : 예선전, 본선이 따로 있었던 Speech Contest와는 달리, Writing Contest의 경우, 미리 Topic을 공개하지 않으며 시험 당일 원생이 제출한 Essay를 절대평가로 채점하여 90점이 상자를 당당 원어민 선생님이 선정합니다. 2) 2nd Step : 총 4명의 원어민 채점자의 점수의 평균 점수를 최종 점수로 환산 (4) 채점 기준(Rating Scale) : 1) Development : is well organized and well developed 2) Coherence : use clearly appropriate details to support a thesis or illustrate ideas 3) Vocabulary : displays consistent facility in the use of language 4) Grammar : demonstrate syntactic variety and appropriate word choice
